It was an evening full of emotion when the Institute for long-term care presented the book by Dr. Alenka Oven titled I Need Long-term Care. In the book one can find answers to the questions we all have when faced with the need for long-term care – for ourselves or our loved ones.

Together with Fenix Outdoor Emerging Markets, Edvard hosted Slovenian media and influencers at a presentation of the summer-spring 2019 collection of clothing and equipment for nature and outdoor life by Fjällräven, Hanwag and Primus.

Everyone who’s anyone in Slovenia’s fashion world attended the Deichmann fashion show in Edvard, transformed to an urban jungle for the event that was hosted by Ajda Sitar. Flora Ema Lotrič charmed the audience with her voice while the spring/summer shoe collection was presented.

On the 8th of November 2018 Edvard hosted a presentation of Primpy, a fashion platform, born in Milan, created in Slovenia and known world-wide. 120 people from the fashion world attended while music and catering spiced up the evening.

To make sure attendees start spring healthy and full of new energy, the Spring Detox event started off with Detox yoga followed by sound bathing and relaxation.

Edvard hosted the Mondelez press conference for its Milka brand’s new marketing campaign which centers on the fact that the milk for its chocolate comes from the farms in the Alps. Five kinds of Milka chocolate bars as well as print ads feature actual cows with their respective names.

On the 14th of November 2018 Edvard hosted a press conference announcing the partnership between Porsche Slovenija and Zavod Varna pot which organizes various education and awareness programmes as part od Vision Zero, a multi-national road traffic safety project. After the press conference 86 people laid down on the nearby Igriška ulica to demonstrate 86 dead on Slovenian roads in 2018.

Edvard hosted a debate on architecture, cooperation between the architect and the client, as well as the ratio between architectural planning and creation of content marketing. The debate, organized by Outsider magazine, was followed by a guided tour of the renovated space of PM, poslovni mediji, located above Edvard.

La Roche-Posay invited media and influencers to an event in Edvard where dermatovenerologist dr. Olga Točkova introduced the latest scientific discoveries about microbiome. The discussion panel was hosted by Alenka Košir. Also participating in the debate were Jani and Teja Jugovic (@coolfotr & @coolmamacitaa). All three of them are facing skin problems in their families.

Edvard woke up that Friday in the excellent company of young creative minds who invited the one and only Boštjan Gorenc – Pižama to be their special guest that morning, January 25th 2019.

Edvard hosted a workshop led by Nik Škrlec, an actor and the Slovenian record holder in memorizing the digits of Pi. The attendees were introduced to the basics of mnemotechnics dating back to antiquity which can still be used today – as an excellent brain exercise as well as a way of memorizing larger quantities of data.

Turizem Ljubljana invited the managers of the local hotels to a very special “Ljubljana breakfast” which is to be included in their hotel offer. When you get to enjoy thins kind of breakfast in one of Ljubljana’s hotels, remember: it was first served in Edvard.

Edvard hosted a dance workshop on community and the coexistence of differences led by Dejan Srhoj and his colleagues. The choreography sketch for Edvard is up to now the 4th episode of Srhoj’s work.

Open House Slovenia Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary at its March opening in Edvard. The director of the festival, Lenka Kavčič, addressed the audience while Fake Orchestra entertained the guests.

PM, poslovni mediji thanked its long-time partners in a short but sweet awards ceremony while Maja Keuc, the famous Slovenian singer, provided the evening’s entertainment for numerous guests who have had the chance to experience Edvard for the first time.
